Stephanie Nnenna Eke Advice for passing the PMP Exam

My journey to being certified started when I applied for the certification online. My exam was scheduled for November 5th, 2016.

In order to share this success story, I got myself enrolled in Ciel Consulting for a PMP Exam Preparation class. I had earlier read PMBOK once and found it difficult to understand. However, when I enrolled in Ciel Consulting, I was advised to get Head First PMP, Rita’s Updated Eighth edition and a simulation exam to facilitate my learning.

Remembering all the processes, process groups and knowledge areas were quite difficult and brain draining initially, but as my training in Ciel commenced, I found out it was very easy to learn and remember too. I was given hints and some tips for remembering all the 47 processes, Process Group & Knowledge Area Mapping Table and Formulas.

Before the exam proper, I was really scared but with the help of the facilitator, Obalim and the materials I was asked to get, I was able to understand better and I attempted several simulation exams and kept a record of the result for comparison. From the records, I noticed there was a gradually improvement from a score of 65% to 93%. I also attempted several other past questions on PMP.

Exam Day

I did the Paper Based Test at JKK Ikorodu Road Lagos.

A day before the exam, I was at Ciel Consulting, Obalim shared some PMP past questions which to my amazement were similar with the questions I encountered during the exam. It seemed like I was still practicing for the exam. I finished in roughly 3 hours record time and I used the remaining time to review my answers before submitting.

Within 2 weeks, the result was out and I was very very glad when I saw the congratulatory message. I am now PMP certified!

“Ciel Consulting is simply the best training center to get a PMP certification. The class sessions were very interactive and interesting. I would urge my friends and colleagues to do their certification training course through Ciel Consulting. ”
